Nollywood Yoruba Actress, Mosun Filani Loses Dad.

Late Mr. Olatunde Filani, the father of Yoruba Nollywood actress, Mosun Filani who has starred in Yoruba movies like the famous ‘Jenifa’, is reported to have passed away after a brief illness.
Kemi Filani revealed that the deceased was born in 1946 and had recently retired as a lecturer from the College of Education, Ikere, Ekiti. Retired Olatunde Filani was a native of Ikole Ekiti.
Husband of the actress Mosun Filani, Barrister Kayode Oduoye, reacted to the sad news. He is the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for the House of Representatives for Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency in Osun State
“It was really painful when I received the news; having become a member of the family, I share with them this moment of grief and I beseech the Almighty God to grant our father eternal rest. May God also grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
“We indeed mourn the death of our father and I would surely miss him for his words of wisdom, guidance and fatherly love but we take solace in the fact that he lived an eventful life that is worthy of emulation”, he said.
Mosun Filani and her husband welcomed a baby boy recently as their second child. They are blesses with two children, a boy and a girl.
